Busmiete.ch does not rent navigation devices. Our philosophy: A professional driver or a group tour driver needs their own device. The driver must be familiar with the device: its functions, its response times, and how to proceed in special situations. Anything else is flying blind, which passengers will be reluctant to accept.

Our recommendations:

Google Maps

• Google Maps has developed into a very good navigation device. 
• Roaming charges are no longer a major problem. Alternatively, you can download the map data to your mobile phone in advance to avoid roaming charges. 
• Requirement: A car holder for the smartphone. 

Alternative for large coaches

A bus navigation device with holder and cable, e.g. from TomTom or Garmin.

Please note: Truck navigation is not always suitable. Truck driving bans do not apply to buses. Therefore, the device must explicitly have a bus mode. Otherwise, problems may arise.
